Angelica Maria Vale Hartman, known professionally by the name Angelica Vale, is a Mexican-American actor, singer impersonator comic and radio host. She is known also for her role as the mother of Angelica Maria La Novia de Mexico and as the daughter of comedian Raul Vale. Her name is associated with the creation of La Balada Ranchera, a musical genre that topped charts in 1973 and led Angelica Maria to become the first Latin artist to have sold 2 million albums across the United States. In 1974 she met Venezuelan singer/comic Raul Vae, whom she was later married in the first wedding broadcast on television by Mexico. Angelica Vale is a Mexican writer and actress who was born in Mexico City on November 11, 1975. She is an actress and writer well-known as the author of La fea mas bella (2006) Lazos de amor (1995) and El hogar que yo robe (1981). She is wed with Otto Padron since February 19 in 2011.
